Broken down, your fees include:
Association Fees - Football Australia & Football West Fees
Club Fees - which cover City of Canning ground usage costs and Lynwood United FC Operating Fees.
At Lynwood United, our motto is to make football affordable.
Please note: as a Community Club, Lynwood United does not have an in-house State League or NPL team. As such, all fees (excluding Association Fees and City of Canning Fees) go into the club to improve and expand on the club’s resources and do not subsidise Player or Coach’s wages.
If you do not already own Lynwood United FC Home and Away Shirts, then you will be required to purchase these either via our online webshop or at one of our Merchandise Nights. You will also be able to place an order for your shirts through your team manager.
(Please Note - U6 & U7s do not require an Away Shirt)
Players are required to wear red shorts and red socks. This is not negotiable as these are our club colours. Shorts and Socks plus other Merchandise will be available from our Pop-Up shops.
We also encourage our players and their families to participate in Fundraising activities throughout the year. These events assist with raising funds to keep our fees low.
Payment is required at time of Registrations. Registrations are usually open mid to late January of each year.
Is your child keen to join Lynwood United Football Club, but the costs are a bit of a stretch? We are excited to share that KidSport funding is available again this year to help Western Australian families get their children involved in community sport.
KidSport is a program run by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (CITS) that provides financial assistance toward club registration fees. Eligible children can receive up to $300 per financial year to cover the costs of joining any approved KidSport club.
The best part? The funding can be used across multiple clubs, making it easier for kids to try different sports, stay active, and connect with their local community.
Who is eligible?
To apply for KidSport, your child must be:
• Between 5 and 18 years old.
• A resident of Western Australia.
• Named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, or meet specific special consideration criteria.

Yes, absolutely!
However, you must forward the KidSport voucher code to the Treasurer before the Earlybird discount period closes.
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT
The club offers an Early Bird Discount of $20 for a set period of time. Once it has expired, fees will revert to the 2026 standard fee as listed on the Registration page. It will be available for registrations that are paid in full at the time of registering. A discount code will be required and will be promoted on our webpage and via our socials. The Early Bird Discount period for 2026 will be advised soon.
FAMILY DISCOUNT
To support our football families, Lynwood United Football Club offers a $75 discount to households with three or more players registered in the 2026 season.
Eligibility: All players must reside at the same address and be registered under the same primary parent/guardian account.
Verification: Proof of residency may be requested by the Registrar.
Payment: A "Family Discount" code will be issued after the second registration has been activated

STUDENT DISCOUNT
A Student Discount of $20 is available to players currently enrolled in tertiary education (TAFE or University). Cannot be used in conjunction with 'Family Discount'.
Eligibility: Players must be 16+.
Verification: A copy of valid 2026 Student ID or course registration is to be emailed to the Club Registrar prior to registration to obtain the discount code.
Payment: A "Student Discount" code will be issued after documents have been reviewed

Yes, absolutely!
Please select Scheduled Payment at the registration payment screen. You will be required to make an initial payment to enable payment by installments.
Scheduled Payments does not qualify for the EarlyBird Discount.
